Yumi is the animated counterpart of Yumi Yoshimura. She is a guitarist and one of the main protagonists of the series called Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. She is voiced by Grey DeLisle.
Why She Rocks On
- She serves as a neat contrast to Ami with her tomboy attitude.
- She along with her friend Ami and their manager Kaz can speak in both English and Japanese.
- Yumi can understand squirrel in the episode Arbor Day.
- In the 2006 game The Genie and the Amp, Ami and Yumi can be upgraded by eating sushi after finishing a level.
- She is the most sane member of the trio and is sort of like Squidward.
Bad Qualities
- Yumi can be a little cynical.
- Yumi can sometimes get in arguments with Ami and Kaz.
- She had little in common with the real life Yumi.

- Grey DeLisle learned how to speak Japanese for the role.
