Yumi is the animated counterpart of Yumi Yoshimura. She is a guitarist and one of the main protagonists of the series called Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi. She is voiced by Grey DeLisle.

Why She Rocks On

1. She serves as a neat contrast to Ami with her tomboy attitude.
2. She along with her friend Ami and their manager Kaz can speak in both English and Japanese.
3. Yumi can understand squirrel in the episode Arbor Day.
4. In the 2006 game The Genie and the Amp, Ami and Yumi can be upgraded by eating sushi after finishing a level.
5. She is the most sane member of the trio and is sort of like Squidward.

Bad Qualities

1. Yumi can be a little cynical.
2. Yumi can sometimes get in arguments with Ami and Kaz.
3. She had little in common with the real life Yumi.
