The Wii Fit Trainer is a Nintendo character and the main instructor from the Wii Fit series. In said games, she/he would instruct the player during fitness exercises (typically those involving mimicking yoga poses) by posing in a way that the player then has to mimic, and instructing them on what to do.

    Why She/He Rocks

    1. She/He is a strong, independent character, especially in the Super Smash Bros series, making her/him more unique than say Peach.
    2. In keeping with her/his home series, her/his move-set in Smash involves her/him assuming various yoga poses or performing certain exercises.
    3. She/He provides the player with encouragement and advice, showing off her/his compassion and kindness.
    4. She/He is a strong believer in exercise and athleticism.
    5. She/He has useful projectiles in the form of Sun Salutation and Header.
    6. She/He has an undoubtledy calm and relaxing voice provided by unknown actress/actor, October Moore/Steve Heinke, which is fitting for a fitness game.
    7. While the Wii Fit Trainer (female) doesn't physically appear in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, a character in Brooklyn has a similar outfit and the same hairstyle/color scheme to her in the scene with Mario and Luigi are running to the BrKLNCouple's house.

    Bad Qualities

    1. She/He lacks a real personality.
    2. On the current SSB4 tier list, Wii Fit Trainer is at 51st place out of 55, ranking at the bottom of the F tier.
      • Thankfully, she/he massively improved in Smash Ultimate.

    Trivia

    • Masahiro Sakurai stated that he was hesitant Wii Fit to change her/him in Smash Ultimate, but decided to do so because it was requested by the developers of Wii Fit
    • The Wii Fit Trainer, Duck Hunt, Ridley, Dark Samus, and Palutena are the only playable characters in the Super Smash Bros. series that do not have a playable appearance in any other video game.
