Wendy Testaburger is a major character in seasons 1 & 2, and a supporting character in seasons 3 onwards of South Park. She is the best friend of Bebe Stevens, and the girlfriend of Stan. She was voiced by the late Mary Kay Bergman during 1997–1999, Eliza J. Schneider during 2000-2003, and currently April Stewart.

Why You Shouldn't F*ck With Her

    1. Her relationship with Stan Marsh is rather cute.
    2. She is a kind, intelligent, mature, and outspoken person who acts as a voice-of-reason.
    3. She always helps the boys out if they need help.
      • She even helped out Stan with his hoarding problem in "Insheeption".
    4. She is politically aware.
    5. Much like other South Park characters, her design is pretty cute.
    6. She was well-voiced by the late Mary Kay Bergman and Eliza Schneider and April Stewart does an even better job taking over the role.
    7. Her alter ego, Call Girl in South Park: The Fractured But Whole is great.
    8. While she broke up with Stan in season 18, they reunited shortly after in "Gluten Free Ebola" and stayed together until season 20, but she seems to get back together with him in South Park: The Fractured But Whole.
    9. In South Park: Post Covid, she's got a new husband by the name of Darwin. While she's married to Darwin, she still remains on good terms with Stan and cares for him very much. Darwin was also happy to see Stan too and sees him as a good friend.
      • On top of that, in the end of South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid, she still hangs out with Stan in the alternate timeline and is willing to do things with him together, which is nice and there's a hint the two are still together since Darwin is not seen.
    10. She shares great chemistry with the girls such as Heidi and Bebe.
    11. In the episode "Deep Learning", she was at her absolute best, giving major character development, she thanks Stan for being the only real thing in her life.

    Bad Qualities

    1. She was once in a relationship with Gregory and she was also in a relationship with Cartman, despite that neither of these relationships are interesting or likable, which is the reason why Stan nearly broke up with her.
    2. While all three of her voice acrtesses did a good job voicing her. They each have some issues while voicing her.
      • While Mary Kay Bergman did a memorable job voicing her, there are a few scenes that are excruciatingly horrible to listen to here and here.
      • While Eliza Schneider voices her pretty well, she can come off as annoying from time to time, especially when she gets mad.
      • While April Stewart voices her well much like Eliza Schneider, also much like Schneider, she can be annoying from time to time, yet again especially when she gets mad, though not as much as Mary Kay Bergman.
    3. She was unlikeable in "Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society" and "Tom's Rhinoplasty", she makes rude comments about her friend Bebe along with her other friends simply because the other boys were attracted to her because of her breasts and she had Ms. Ellen killed because the boys were also attracted to her too. Why it is understandable for her to be angry that Stan is attracted to Bebe and miss Ellen, this is not an excuse for this behavior.
    4. She was mad at Stan for falling for Ms. Ellen when she fell for Bridon in "Elementary School Musical".
      • She even cheated on Stan with Bridon on the same episode mentioned above. Thankfully, it's a one-time thing, so Stan and Wendy are still together in the next episodes in season 12.

    Trivia

    • Mary Kay Bergman died in 1999 with a shotgun due to GAD suffering. As a result, Eliza Schneider replaced her.
      • However, Schneider was replaced with April Stewart in 2004 due to a contract dispute.
    • She got back together with Stan in season 11.
    • It was revealed that something bad happened to her when she was 6 years in "Deep Learning", however the cause of it is unknown.
    • Her personality in the newer seasons is similar to Oliver from Thomas & Friends.
    • She gave Cartman a taste of his own medicine by beating him up in Breast Cancer Show Ever.
      • In the same episode, she's even right that making fun of breast cancer is never okay.
