Tsukasa Tsukiyomi/Yuzaki is the main female protagonist of the slice of life manga, Tonikaku Kawaii. Tsukasa is Nasa Yuzaki's wife, she saved Nasa from getting hit by a truck during a snowy night, and he confessed to her at that moment, taken aback by her beauty. Tsukasa agreed to go out with Nasa on the condition that they get married.

Why She Rocks

1. Tsukasa is a very beautiful girl, very cool headed, and a helpful housewife to Nasa.
   • She's generally a nice person, but can be terrifying when she wants to be.
2. Hence her calm demeanor, she can be very awkward to Nasa and is very fascinated by many pop culture; the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Star Wars saga, The Terminator, anime, manga, and YouTube.
3. Due to her cute and geeky personality, Tsukasa is a very relatable character among people who strongly admire pop culture.
4. Not only her voice actress, Akari Kito, did a superb performance, she also sang the first opening song, Koi no Uta - Yunomi, and the song itself was catchy.
   • She also sang the second opening song, Setsuna no Chikai, and it's as good as the first one.
5. Her dub voice actress, Lauren Landa, does a good job portraying her.
6. Tsukasa's cooking skills are very special.
   • When she made a meal in ten minutes, Nasa reacts like a cheerful customer, especially when he chews the tofu.
7. The antics of Tsukasa and Aya as rivals are very hilarious, mainly due to their competitive mentality.
8. While she acts indifferent towards Chitose, she does end up developing an understanding relationship with Kaname.
9. She had saved Nasa from being run over by a truck, and just like that, she proposed to him, and then they got married!
   • Tsukasa has a habit of spoiling her husband: letting him call her cute, massage his back, having him join her in the bath house, or letting him hug her at bed.
   • From time to time, Tsukasa and Nasa kiss each other.
   • She only pretends to be angry when she sees a photo of Nasa in a compromising position with Charlotte, but says that if she had actually been upset, it would have been a lot worse for Nasa.
10. Tsukasa was kind and caring to know Nasa's desire to always help others before himself is the best trait about him. Even when their apartment burn down, he didn't get mad, upset or even complain, she points out her husband's anticipation of such event and his concern for others before his own wellbeing as his charm. She even tells him she loves him for that.
11. As they get to know each other, she starts to display more emotions than simply acting calm; she gets embarrassed very easily whenever Nasa proclaims his love for her and how cute she is.
12. A very touching moment for her was when Nasa's dad thanks Tsukasa for saving their son, especially when he described just how grateful they were to Tsukasa for saving him and even marrying him and tells her to take care of him.
13. She's also very good at swordsmanship.
14. The biggest plot twist in the manga is that Tsukasa is immortal and is 1,400 years old.
    • This was already foreshadowed that she saved Nasa's life by giving him a drop of her blood in his mouth to heal him during the time when he got hit by a truck.
    • During ancient times, Tsukasa was once a herbalist going around making medicine. However, she got physically ill after treating some patients. But by the time on where she was on her deathbed, her father healed Tsukasa by having her to drink a special liquid, which not only made her physically healthy again, but granted her with immortality.
15. "Darling..."

The Only Bad Quality

1. With the exception of Nasa and Kaname, Tsukasa doesn't get along with her family members; as she mostly bickers with Chitose and her grandaunt.

Trivia

• Akari Kito (Tsukasa's voice actress) had also played many characters; Nezuko Kamado from Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer, Momo Chiyoda from The Demon Girl Next Door, Kaho Hinata from Blend S, and Barbara from Genshin Impact.
• Her background is also seemingly tied to the story of Princess Kaguya. The last name Tsukuyomi (月読) is the Japanese god of the moon. She also has a connection with a moonstone. The first name Tsukasa could be translated as "chief."
  • In Chapter 92, a little girl resembling Tsukasa was seen walking and being helped out by a woman (probably Tokiko) during what could possibly be World War II.
  • In Chapter 109, a character named Kaguya (same name as Kaguya-Hime, the princess in the original tale) is introduced. It may imply that Tsukasa isn't the princess but the one who has come to earth looking for Hime-sama or her reincarnation.
• She became so enthusiastic when Kaname told Tsukasa that Kaname and Aya's runaway father left a retro gaming console (Sega Genesis) inside their house, that she eagerly wanted to play it with Aya and Nasa. Additionally, Tsukasa plays Fate/Grand Order.
• Her favourite number is 646: the number of Taika reforms that began the country known as Japan.
• She likes Mozart.
• Her favorite karaoke song is "Kawa No Nagare No You Ni"
• She hates frogs.
