Toon Link is a character in The Legend of Zelda series. He first appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords and has became popular ever since.
Why He's Our Toon Link
- Like Young Link, this incarnation of Link is cute, most notably due to his face, and that he’s a cartoon version of Link.
- He has a close family bond with his grandma, and his little sister Aryll.
- He is very skilled, being able to do tasks that mostly feel like adults can do. For example, he rides his boat, the King of Red Lions in The Wind Waker, and in Spirit Tracks, he conducts a train.
- Like the Ice Climbers, he mostly relies on teamwork, but instead of being a duo, he works in a team of four, team of four Links.
- He has great teamwork with Tetra (a.k.a Zelda) and her Pirates, and he cares about them very much.
- Appeared in the Super Smash Bros. series in Smash Brawl as a playable character, and then went for a go to be in Smash 4 and Smash Ultimate.
- In The Wind Waker, he actually speaks (albeit briefly), giving him a much clearer personality compared to the other Links.
- He also became a playable character in Hyrule Warriors.
Bad Qualities
- While he did speak in The Wind Waker, he is pretty much silent, so his personality is somehow unclear.
- He can be considered as a thief, in The Wind Waker, he loses his sword, and has to steal stuff from others, but if he is caught by a spotlight, he surrenders.
- In the Final Battle against Ganondorf, he was caught by Ganondorf because he was not careful.
- Like Young Link in Melee, he has an unoriginal moveset in Smash, as it is basically just a copy-and-paste of Link's moveset.
- Even his new forward smash in Ultimate is similar to Link’s old forward smash from Smash 64.
