Spock (born 2230 on Vulcan: died 2285 on Enterprise) was one of the deuratagonists of Star Trek.
Why he is the one true Spock?
- Shortly after his first appearance in Star Trek, he became one of the keystone figures of Star Trek.
- His actor Leonard Nimoy did an amazing job in portraying him.
- "Live Long and Prosper" Enough said.
- He even has his iconic Vulcan Salute, which was inspired by a Jewish hand symbol for YHWH.
- He was one of the most intelligent characters in Star Trek, who often acted logically and rationally.
- His final appearance in Star Trek: Into Darkness as Spock Prime was a great final moment for the character.
- As Captain Kirk's second in command, he is a very great mentor and a friend.
Illogical qualities
- Sadly, in the latest installments of Star Trek (especially Star Trek: Discovery), he was butchered, if not flanderized, into an immature man-child who would often throw a fit and act emotionally, which would be considered to be against his Vulcan tradition. Fortunately, he retained some of his former traits in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
- Leonard Nimoy, Spock's original actor, died in 2015.
