Roxinaou Ishi is the secondary protagonist of the 2003 Cartoon Monsoon pilot Go! Go! Moba Boy! by Matt Danner and Eric Pringle. She was voiced by Jessica Fletcher and Grey DeLisle.

    Why She Rocks

    1. Roxinaou had a cool and original first name.
    2. Roxinaou is considered the brains of the family.
    3. Roxinaou has a unique animesque design that is reminiscent of Dragon Ball. It helps she was designed by Derrick J. Wyatt.
    4. Roxi is supportive of her younger brother Motoro by giving him gadgets and upgrades.
    5. She never let Motoro down with her technology, not even once.
    6. In the extended version, Grey DeLisle gave a better voice performance for Roxi compared to Jessica Fletcher.
    7. She had some funny lines such as “You guys watch way too much anime, you know that?” and “Well, well, well. So, look at who finally decided to wake up.”
    8. She is surprisingly attractive.

    Bad Qualities

    1. She can be a little mean spirited towards Duckie.
    2. Her original voice actress Jessica Fletcher is considered bland and generic.
    3. In the original version, she called Duckie “ret@rded”. Luckily, in the extended version, she instead called him “lame”.
    4. She is obscure despite how likable she is.

    Trivia

    • Grey DeLisle also voiced Roxi and Motoro’s mother in both versions of the pilot.
    • Kyle A. Carrozza made fan art of her on his DeviantArt page back in 2005.
    • She had some noticeable similarities with Frankie Foster because of the character design and voice actress.
