Ron Stampler is a character in the D&D podcast Dungeons and Daddies. He is an emotionally stunted step-dad and a Rogue. He is played by Beth May. He has attached earlobe, and wore lots of pants for many episodes. Though Ron is pretty flawed, he is overall a good character.
Why He Rocks
- He is pretty hilarious and weird, and being the objectively most weird one in the group makes him somewhat relatable.
- He is sometimes rather sweet, and he really tries to be nice for his friends.
- He is very stealthy (when Beth rolls well).
- He hid behind his own pants once.
- He cares about his wife very much, and he does care about his step-son even when it isn't obvious.
- He listens to the fellow dads in his party about certain things.
- He can sing amazingly.
- Ron was domineered and bullied at a young age, and being with the other dads on their adventure has helped his emotional health and stance; character development.
- His relationship with his step-son has positively increased considerably since episode 14, and was made apparent in later episodes.
- Ron can be, though not often, very bright and intelligent.
Bad Qualities
- Some of his jokes are not good.
- He was a pretty bad step-dad to his step-son, Terry Junior.
- He can be kind of insensitive sometimes.
- He's kind of daft, but that's sometimes why he's funny.
