Rocko Rama is an anthropomorphic wallaby and the eponymous titular character of the 90s animated television series Rocko's Modern Life (as well as its comic book series), He is voiced by Carlos Alazraqui. He served as the unofficial mascot of Nickelodeon from his introduction in 1993 until the introduction of SpongeBob SquarePants in 1999.
Why He Rocks
- Rocko is one of the most relatable characters, not only on the Nicktoons channel but in animation.
- He sees the good in everyone, even if they're obnoxious and completely wild.
- He is usually seen with his two friends, the overweight and simple steer Heffer Wolfe and the neurotic turtle Filburt-a friendship that gets him entangled into some strange escapades.
- He is amazingly voiced by Carlos Alazraqui, a very talented and underrated voice actor. His voice was also later borrowed into Lazlo from Camp Lazlo!.
- He is smoothly animated, this is shown through every instance he yells.
- He enjoys collecting comic books and likes rainbows (although this briefly earned him the scorn of his neighbors and associates).
- YOU CHEAP LITTLE ROTTER!!!!!!! I have been run over by a car, made to drag around a gimp shopping cart, threatened by your Gestapo security guards, had me head set on fire, I was attacked by wild lobsters, beaten by a very LARGE woman, had me dog wrapped in plastic, nearly starved to death and I still made the twelve o'clock deadline! So if you don't change that total back to a dollar fifty, I WILL DO SOMETHING NOT NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bad Qualities
- Although personally hygienic, Rocko has an almost pathological tendency to neglect his living space.
- He is paranoid and obsessive.
