Peter B. Parker also known as Spider-Man, is the deuteragonist of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and the tritagonist of its 2023 sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. He was once an ordinary teenager who was bitten by a radioactive spider and gained spider-like powers and abilities. Following the death of his Uncle, Ben Parker, to a crime he didn't stop. Peter swore to used his powers to protect the inhabitants of New York City as the masked superhero known as the Amazing Spider-Man. He is one of the Spider-People pulled out of his universe by the Kingpin, using his Super Collider.

Some time later, in 2018, Peter B. Parker was displaced to another universe as a result of that world's Kingpin's super-collider. Upon arriving there, Parker met Miles Morales: a teenager with abilities similar to his own, for which he was forced to take him under his wing as a way to help Miles control his powers so that he can replaced his deceased counterpart as the new Spider-Man of that reality as well as send him back to his own.

    Why He's a Brilliant Mentor

    1. He's the very first Spider-Man in the multiverse, fighting all of his villains and marrying his Mary Jane. He also has some similarities to Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire's versions of Spider-Man, due to having a similar hair style like Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man and watching Captain Stacy die in front of him, having a house similar to Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man and being older in fact.
    2. He took Miles under his wing so he could become Spider-Man and save the multiverse.
    3. His personal life started to go down hill after saving the city so many times as Spider-Man, after the death of his Aunt May, divorcing Mary Jane, and as a result he became a more disbelieved version of the hero he was before.
    4. Audiences can really relate to how far this Peter Parker has fallen, realizing he's very desperate to get back up top.
    5. He has a great dynamic and relationship with Miles.
    6. The scene where he meets his counterpart's Aunt May was emotional and heartwarming due to the fact that he lost his Aunt May and She lost her Peter.
    7. He has amazing fight scenes and action sequences with Doc-Ock, Prowler, and Kingpin.
    8. He was willing to stay behind and deactivate the portal in case Miles is not ready to do it, even knowing that this could end his life.
    9. He's finally in a happy place after he remarried Mary Jane and his lovely daughter named Mayday Parker and introduces her to the Spider-Society.
    10. He tries reasoning with Miles when he becomes a fugitive to the Spider-Society and eventually defects because he wouldn't have Mayday without him.
    11. He rightfully reprimands Miguel O'Hara for being too hard on Miles.
    12. He, along with Gwen, Pavitr, Hobie and a few others, rejoined the Spider-Gang to go help and find Miles to stop Miguel and the Spot.
    13. Jake Johnson does a great job voicing him.

    Bad Qualities

    1. He completely ignored his responsibilities as Spider-Man.
    2. He and Gwen lied to Miles about him being an anomaly, this was really messed up of them.
    3. He wasn't in the second movie that much, appearing only halfway through the movie.
