Nakoruru is a playable character that appears in the Samurai Shodown franchise. Being one of SNK's most well known characters, she and Rimururu are playing in the forest when Mamahaha flies in holding her father's sword. Sensing her father was in danger, she apologized to Rimururu and leaves. Upon reaching Hinowa, Nakoruru tells Gaoh that his war is hurting the planet. Gaoh proclaims he will build a new country and will destroy any who would stand in his way. At his defeat, Kamui appears before her, asking Nakoruru to follow her father's footsteps as he was killed. Nakoruru asks what would happen if she declined and is told another maiden would be asked to be the successor. Not wanting Rimururu to be put at risk, Nakoruru accepts to become the new Kamui warrior of Kamui Kotan. She continues to fulfill this role throughout the series protecting nature and defeating villains often alongside Haohmaru.

    Why She Rocks

    1. She's really calm and gentle which would make other people portray her as "doll-like" which is a tern that somewhat displeases her.
    2. She also does have a good relationship with Rimururu who happens to be her sisters and takes good care of her as a child, but in a nice way. This goes to show you that she could teach people what a sister really means to be despite being fictional. Not just Rimururu, she has a heart for protecting the weak, fearful, and innocent. And of course, she takes care of a hawk named Mamahaha.
      • That's not all. In Nakoruru: Ano Hito kara no Okurimono, she adopts a protege named Mikato who teaches the young girl about Kamui and her society's culture.
      • The Nakoruru and Terry Club. More will be said in the Trivia section!
    3. She loves nature and has a willing to protect nature at all cost. Thing is that as what you would thought of from a character who inspires nature, her solutions to protecting nature often portrayed as non-violent. So we could say that Nakoruru can teach players that nature is indeed a beauty. She even scarifies herself to restore nature's balance after defeating Mizuki Rashojin.
    4. She's really cute. But that's not all, an adorable face can even still defend herself as in don't just a book by it's cover. In other words, she greatly possesses a fast and frantic fighting style that will show you that she's not a coward.
    5. Her backstory is really sad yet beautiful because she started to realize that her dad was in danger, but she follows his footsteps thus accepting to become the new Kamui warrior of Kamui Kotan.
    6. Nakoruru has also gotten some character development. In the development on Samurai Shodown 2019, Nakoruru disposition had gradually changed in the years which leads her from a sad and stoic girl to become a bit cheery. Even the team said "so for this one, i don't think you'll ever see her smile".
    7. Usually, she abhors fighting, but will absolutely not shy away from combat!
    8. Outside of battle, she does desire a normal, age appropriate desire to have fun like any other young girl, but her dedication to nature trumps that every time. Basically, this could be relatable because there is a time when we want to have fun, but duties can get in the way.

    Bad Qualities

    1. Though normal, she's pretty shy towards people.
    2. Has a very low tolerance for damage and can be killed very easily
    3. Despite she protects nature. She's willing to kill anyone for a sake of nature.
