Mosshead is a background character introduced in the 2006 film, Casper's Scare School and a supporting character in the TV series of the same name. He is one of the students at Scare School and one of Thatch's friends.
Why He Rocks
He's a good comic relief for the show, and one of the rare characters that can get some laughs from the viewer, considering the show's humor is pretty weak.
Despite being friends with Thatch, the school bully, he is generally peaceful with the other students at Scare School.
Actually, he is one of the friendliest students in Thatch's clique, along with Slither.
Although he seemed annoying at the beginning of "Messy Business at the Manor", he redeemed himself at the end and apologized to Casper for being nasty to him even after he was invited to his house, so much so that he still maintained the friendship between Casper and Jimmy in secret and even helped clean up the mess he made at Casper's house.
He is much nicer and friendlier in Season 2, so much so that he even helped Casper twice in "The Day The Professor Croaked", first to do a favor for a teacher and the second to help him get school pass Kibosh's assessment, which shows that he is also a good friend to Casper, despite still having some rivalries.
Speaking of Season 2, he gained much more prominence and lines than in Season 1, moving from an occasional character to a recurring character.
Also, he is one of the few characters that was not flandered in Season 2, quite the contrary, his character has actually been greatly improved, as are Thurdigree Burns and Alder and Dash.
His design, even having some weird features like the other characters, is still pretty decent.
He can be very annoying at times, like when he was invited by Casper to his uncle's house and ended up being quite nasty and rude to him.
Sometimes he still helps Thatch in his plans to get Casper in trouble.
Although he is friendlier than Thatch's other friends, he is still a troublemaker.
He also gets to be very disgusting at times, like the scene where he sneezes in the soup served by Casper's uncles and then tastes it.
His design can sometimes look a bit like Uncanny Valley, just like most of the other characters on the show.
