Miles Macklin, also known as the superhero AWOL, is a main character in Danger Force.
He is portrayed by Terrence Little Gardenhigh.
Background
Miles is a cool, calm, slightly laid-back, loud, hyper and supremely confident individualist. He has a deep soul and believes he is destined for greatness. He is the calm in the storm. He sees the events in his life as steps along his destined path. Nothing surprises him and he never panics. He's also the brother of Mika and he thinks she tries too hard and needs to let the path guide her.
As AWOL, he wears a yellow and black suit with a logo on his chest that resembles a fist. On his face, he wears a black mask with a yellow line on top. He also wears black and yellow boots as well as black and yellow fingerless gloves.
Why He's Destined for Greatness
- He is a really calm, confident collected individual, and unlike his other teammates usually tends to due more heroic deeds rather than idiotic and horrible deeds, and whenever he tries to do some really stupid deeds it usually has a comedic outcome.
- He has some decently hilarious moments, such as when he gave all his yoga pants savings to Schwoz's bratty mom, or the time where never even bothered to participate in Ray's apple-picking contest, and stating he never cared for the outcome but the journey he spent out and finally the scene where he tried to outsmart his own sister in a prank but instead backfired.
- Depending on your point of view, Miles could be seen as a relatable one among the bunch, mostly with his laid back nature.
- Unlike his teammates Miles has two superpowers, one is being teleportation and the second one being Precognition, a Future Vision, and the way how he utilizes both of these acquired abilities are rather decent, with some really humorous results.
- His costume design looks pretty cool, and has probably the coolest looking among the four protagonists, and has probably the best color combination among the DF costumes.
- He is way more tolerable than his twin sister, in fact whenever something rather unpleasant happens, Miles just puts on a slight reaction, while Mika unleashes her Bratty and ear-piercingly annoying nature.
- His friendship with his best friend, Bose is pretty nice to watch, and the two could have some decently nice moments as a pair, at times Bose could also be less idiotic probably over the fact that Miles can't tolerate it if it gets way out hand.
- He also has a good friendship with Chapa, despite their differences where their rocky relationship continues to grow stronger as they are not only good friends now, but partners in crime.
- He also has a good bond with Mika, despite taking her fro granted at times. Plus their relationship is better the the Thunder Twins.
- His dialogue isn't as laughable and cringe-worthy as with most of the Danger force characters.
Bad Qualities
- He can still be unlikeable at times, and his laid-back nature could also be a bit much at times as well.
- In "Alien Zoo", he caused most of the problems due to his hatred of Zoos. While he has a good reason to hate them, he had no right to force his beliefs on his friends which also put them in danger.
- He also sometimes takes his sister for granted. While Mika is annoying Miles often lets her do all the work and he gets all the credit.
- His superhero name AWOL, sounds really stupid, and is probably the most laughable superhero alias ever created in the Dangerverse.

- He is the only member of the Danger Force whose supersuit doesn't have a belt with the Danger Force logo on it.

- Miles is trying to limit his ice cream consumption.
- Prior to his first appearance, Miles read a fortune saying that he is on the path to greatness, and now believes he must follow his path and the universe is on his side. Because of this, he does not worry about anything.
- He usually has unnaturally good luck, for example in the episode "Twin It To Win It" when he won his contest with Mika by doing nothing and waiting for criminals to come to him. He caught 4 criminals who handed themselves over due to guilt and 30 criminals who came to S.W.A.G. to find a missing scoreboard.
- His middle name is "Theopholis".
- He is afraid of ghosts.
- Miles is the younger twin.

- When Miles starts his backswing, he can't stop.
- As of "The Force Returns, Part 1", Miles is shown to have already lost weight.
