Maria Campbell is character from My Next Life as a Villainess, and the main protagonist of a visual game, Fortune Lover. She possesses light magic that is rare for a commoner, which lead to her being alienated during her childhood.
Why She Rocks
- Maria is very talented in cooking and academics.
- One example is that she made cupcakes and other sweets, especially for Catarina.
- She in relationship with Katarina Claes.
- She works very hard in order to be more experienced in household chores.
- She's very kind, positive and helpful especially to her friends.
- She become more confident as she won't hesitate to protect her friends.
- When Katarina Claes (current version) was falsely accused as the mastermind of bullying, Maria won't hesitate to reveal the names of her bullies for the sake of Katarina herself.
- The chemistry between Maria and Catarina is very consistent through the series.
- Maria did a good job of utilizing her light magic. Not only she can heal any people (particularly her friends), she is also unaffected by dark magic as well, mainly because that light magic usually dispels dark magic.
- When Katarina and several others got sucked in a magic book, Maria and Mary, who witness that scene, creates a plan that will surely free everyone from the magic book and without hitting Catarina in the process.
- The plan: Give Catarina a scenario that serves as her stress relief. Unsuprinsingly, eating too much sweets cannot be handle by a magic book.
Bad Qualities
- Maria was liability to defend herself until she gains some confidence later in the series.
- She become a little bit of an attention seeker due to lack of positive attention and sad childhood.
