Makoto “Mako” Kino is the civilian identity and present-day incarnation of Sailor Jupiter.

Why She Rocks

1. She is the most physically strongest character out of the main inner five.
2. She is very strong, kind, gentle and independent.
3. Her backstory is very touching.
4. She is a tough and strong tomboy.
5. Her transformation as Sailor Jupiter, is very cute and cool. Her outfits are very cute.
6. She is very loyal to her friends, especially Ami, Minako, and Usagi.
7. She loves boyish hobbies (e.g. sports).
8. She is very protective and caring towards her friends.
   • A great example of this is in episode 171, where Usagi was in a state of hallucination and Nehelenia was about to kill her, but Makoto came to her rescue and protected Usagi from Nehelenia's attacks, even if it meant getting seriously injured.
