Lyle is the major protagonist of the 2022 movie Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, he is a shy Saltwater Crocodile who barely talks but is known to sing and is the pet of Hector P. Valenti and Josh Primm, his singing voice is done by Shawn Mendes.
Why He's Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile
- Unlike most crocodiles, he is very friendly towards other characters and is also shy.
- He is a really great singer and has sung a lot of great songs on the film like Top of the World and Just Look at Us Now.
- He helps Mr and Mrs Primm that he's actually a friendly crocodile and not really dangerous by bonding with them in their favorite hobbies, which is a good example of the Never Judge a Book by it's Cover trope.
- His design is really good and adorable, even for a crocodile.
- He is also willing to save other people's lives like when Josh Primm was about to get his phone robbed by a homeless person and when Hector P. Valentini was about to get attacked by other crocodiles at the zoo.
- He overcomes his stage fright near the end of the film to show the world that he's not scary.
- Shawn Mendes does a great job with his singing voice.
- A lot of the stuff he does on the film is usually cute and funny.
- He is also shown to be pretty intelligent, like being born to sing and dance and knowing how to be trusted by Mr and Mrs Primm by bonding with them in their favorite hobbies.
- He is also a really good dancer.
Bad Qualities
- He is known for having stage fright around audiences and refuses to sing in front of them, though he overcomes this near the end of the film.
- He also does some gross stuff every now and then like eating garbage.
