Logan Reese (Matthew Underwood) is a main character on Zoey 101 and was part of the cast for all four seasons. He was born very rich to a famous TV and movie producer, Malcolm Reese. He's the best friend and roommate of Chase Matthews, Michael Barret, and James Garrett, close friends with Zoey Brooks, Lola Martinez, Nicole Bristow, and Dana Cruz, and the boyfriend of Quinn Pensky. He is bullied by a lot of characters.

Logan was born to Malcolm Reese. His birth mother and any siblings remains unknown. Logan grew up in an extremely wealthy family, and is often spoiled and given oodles of money by his father. In Zoey's Tutor, it's revealed that when Logan was a kid he used to spend the summer at his home and was forced to learn chemistry from his grandfather who was a chemistry professor. In the movie "Spring Break-Up", it's also revealed that he has a beach house in Santa Barbara.

    Why He Rocks

    1. He is a jerk, but he has a heart of gold.
    2. He's considered a flirtatious jerk by many students and likes to take pictures of himself and autograph them to give to girls at PCA.
    3. Logan constantly refers to himself as being attractive and condescends to others.
    4. He also enjoys being active and making out with girls.
    5. He has a good friendship with Chase and Michael, and is always there for them on many occasions.
    6. He does get his comeuppance for really bad things he's done.
    7. He is portrayed to have a crush on Zoey on numerous occasions, including "Broadcast Views", where he flirts and asks her to make out, until he starts dating one of Zoey's best friends and roommate, Quinn Pensky.
    8. He's portrayed as being a dumb person when it comes to school, spending money and street smarts on many occasion, but it's revealed in one episode that he's very gifted in Chemistry, smart enough to tutor Zoey. This is due to being taught every summer as a child by his grandfather, a chemistry professor at a nearby college.
    9. Despite being so stuck up, Logan is not truly a bad person, and although selfish and arrogant, he does care about his friends, and will come through for them when they need him to.
    10. His arrogance and maliciousness often stem from his family's wealth and connections. However, in the episode ''Logan Gets Cut Off,'' his dad cuts him off from his money and credit and confiscates his luxury belongings for a while after Logan buys a six-figure priced car without asking permission in order to teach him a hard lesson. Logan, distraught, broke, and with no amenities, is forced to navigate the world of being an average kid and do things for himself without financial help, which he has a very hard time doing.
    11. Despite being known as a womanizing jerk in the earlier seasons, especially in seasons 1 and 2, Logan started to grow out of this in season 3 and while he still tried to get girls to date him, he showed his really soft side when he found Quinn crying and listened to her after her break up with Mark, which leads Logan to kissing Quinn. It is shown after he started dating Quinn that his player attitude is behind him and is generally a really sweet guy deep down when it comes to being in a relationship with her and is willing to do what makes her happy.
    12. In Goodbye Zoey, Logan and Michael helped Chase admit how much he missed and loved Zoey. Logan ripped the head off a stuffed giraffe Zoey gave him, showing that he does care for Chase and wishes him to be happy. Subsequently, Chase attacked Logan, although Logan forgave him.
    13. He is greatly portrayed by Matthew Underwood.

    Bad Qualities

    1. He has a very strange relationship with the group, due to him being the Token Evil friend and The Friend Nobody Likes. And while Logan is often a jerk to his friends, they aren't exactly kind to him either, often going a bit too far on their payback for Logan's jerkish behavior.
    2. He is often very arrogant and self-absorbed.
    3. His constant suffering is karma's way of telling him that being a colossal jerk towards others has its impeccable amount of consequences, and thus he suffers through karmic retribution whenever he reaches that point. However, while he often deserves it for being an asshole, in some episodes he seems just a victim of excessive retribution from his "friends" (with "Zoey's Tutor", "Rumor of Love" and "Anger Management" being some of the most egregious examples, which have led by Zoey who was very unlikeable in those episodes.
    4. He can be unlikeable a lot of the time, due to being a jerk.
    5. While his arrogance can be funny, it can be annoying most of the time.
    6. He and Dana Cruz were originally supposed to date (as hinted by their belligerent sexual tension) until she was written out of the show and Quinn took over the role as Logan's love interest,
    7. Although Quinn and Logan were a cute couple, their relationship came out of nowhere, and it could've been better if they developed their relationship a little early in the show due to the fact they didn't have much screen time together. They also don't have many things in common, which is also why Dana was Logan's original love interest.
    8. The phone message he left to Dustin in the infamous "Anger Management": "Listen to me, Dustin. I told you that I expect you to answer your cell phone when I call. I've been trying to reach you for over ten minutes, and now I'm late for ping-pong! Okay? You've made a fool out of me for the last time. I don't care if you're 11 or 12 or however old you are! YOU'RE OLD ENOUGH TO NOT BE THIS MUCH OF AN IDIOT!"
