Littlefoot is a brown male Apatosaurus, or "Long Neck". His birth marks the beginning of the very first film. When his mother dies protecting him from a sharptooth, he is forced to travel through the harsh wilderness alone to find his surviving grandparents. After meeting several young dinosaurs along the way who would become his best friends, they arrive in the verdant Great Valley where the series primarily takes place. He is voiced by Gabriel Damon (I), Scott McAfee (II-IV), Brandon LaCroix (V), Thomas Dekker (singing voice, V; singing and speaking, VI-IX), Alec Medlock (X), Aaron Spann (XI), Nick Price (XII), Cody Arens (XIII-TV series), Logan Arens (XIII), Anthony Skillman (singing voice, XIII-TV series) and Felix Avitia (XIV).

Why He Did It

1. He is modest, intelligent, playful, adventurous and positive.
2. He learns that his mother will always be with him, which is a good lesson for children who have lost one of their family members.
3. He acts very mature and like a brother towards his friends.
4. He is also honest and knows well.
5. He has good skills at befriending other characters.
6. He cares a lot about his friends and always help them whenever they are in danger.
7. His design is very cute.
8. When under attack by predators or in other dangerous time, even when the adults tell Littlefoot and the other children to run to safety, he stops the others from leaving, and urges them to help out in any way they can.
9. He is unwilling to lose his friends and families and risks danger to save them.

Bad Qualities

1. He can sometimes act belligerent towards his friends sometime.
2. Depending on the sequels, he sometimes comes off as idiotic or too cautious, this was at it's worst on XIII.
3. Due to his design it's hard to tell either he's a Brontosaurus or an Apatosaurus.
