Karkat Vantas (Homestuck)

"MY HATE IS THE LIFEBLOOD THAT PULSES THROUGH THE VEINS OF YOUR UNIVERSE. IT IS MY GIFT TO YOU. YOU'RE WELCOME FOR THAT. YOU UNGRATEFUL PIECE OF SHIT."

Karkat Vantas is one of the twelve Beta Trolls in Homestuck and is the main character of the series. His associated Zodiac sign is Cancer, the 4th sign represented by a crab.

Why He Rocks

1. He is quite unique since he is the only Troll whose sign is not a rainbow color (Or a shade of brown or pink), and in this case, it's gray.
2. Ironically, despite being wrathful like Caliborn, he is also caring like Calliope. In fact, he types in gray like how the latter two originally did so and now types in dark gray (Closer to black) and light gray (Closer to white).
3. Proof that Karkat Vantas can be caring as well is that he once gave helpful advice to Eridan Ampora, despite the hypocritical latter's desire to kill all land-dwellers.
4. He is a somewhat effective leader to the other trolls.
5. Perhaps in relevance to his blood aspect, Karkat "studies" relationships as an avid admirer of troll romance novels and rom-com's.

Bad Qualities

1. He is quite cocky on many occasions.
   • Of course this is understandable due to the fact that he's crabby and is associated with the Cancer Zodiac sign.
