Haku (Naruto)

Haku (白, Haku) is a minor character from Naruto delete

He was an orphan from the Land of Water, and a descendant of the Yuki clan. He later became a shinobi under Zabuza Momochi's tutelage whom he later partnered with, ultimately becoming a Mercenary Ninja.

Why He's Haku

1. His design is pretty great, and confused many back when they first saw him in the show.
2. He has an extremely tragic backstory, as he was abused by his parents when he was younger, he was wanted by nobody, he was forced to take to the cold streets and rummage through trash bins for scraps of food and he even sometimes had to fight off the wild dogs that roamed the streets.
3. While he is a villain, he isn't as evil as some of the other villains in the series, as he still has a heart. More on that later.
4. Even though he's just a young teen, he was still shown to be extremely powerful, as he almost managed to kill Sasuke, and almost defeated Naruto.
5. He is one of the few characters in the series to have the rare ice release.
6. He helped save team Kakashi from Zabuza, even though he was only tricking them.
7. Like what WHR 3 says, he has a big heart, as he found an unconcious Naruto in a forest, woke him up and talked to him for a bit.
8. He has a great relationship with Zabuza, as he threatened Gato not to touch him
9. Speaking of Zabuza, he had a heroic sacrifice, as he jumped in front of Kakashi's Chidori so Zabuza won't be killed.
10. His voice actresses do a great job at voicing him.
11. During the Fourth Great Shinobi War, he along with Zabuza were some of the many dead shinobi that were revived, and he put up a great fight.
12. Also during the war, when Kakashi revealed that Naruto had become an admirable shinobi since they had fought him, Haku happily remarked that he believed Naruto would only continue to improve.

Bad Qualities

1. Due to his death early on in the series, he wasn't seen in the series again (apart from flashbacks and cameos) until the Fourth Great Shinobi War
2. Many people can mistake him for a girl. It doesn't help that his voices sound rather feminine
