Gwen is a camper and one of the finalists of Total Drama Island, as a member of the Screaming Gophers. She returned as a cast member on Total Drama Action and served as the captain of the Screaming Gaffers. She also returned for Total Drama World Tour as a member of Team Amazon.

She was seen with the original contestants on a yacht in the first episode of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island and had a cameo appearance in one episode. She later returned as a camper on Total Drama All-Stars, as a member of the Villainous Vultures.

Why She Was Our Goth Girl

1. She is known as a level-headed, independent, kind-hearted goth girl who interested in lies of art and astronomy
2. While her blunt and moody attitude makes her seem cold and harsh, Gwen isn't anti-social; she's just cautious about who she lets into her social circle.
3. Her design is pretty cool, attractive, and memorable, especially for a goth girl.
4. Her crush on Trent and their relationship is cute to see.
   • Which is saying something since she is overall a "dude magnet" since she has got three guys (Duncan, Trent, and Cody) who have shown to like her a lot, and even a couple more of men, who have commented that she's good-looking and attractive.
5. She kept to herself early in the series, but ends up becoming close friends with many of the contestants, most notably Leshawna, Bridgette, Owen, Duncan and Cody.
6. She has won more challenges than any other contestant in the series. Her victories in "The Big Sleep" and "Basic Straining" are testaments to her exceptional willpower.
7. She did slightly brighten up in later episodes, as she even teamed up with Owen to give Heather her well deserved comeuppance in "I Triple Dog Dare You".
8. She always tries to see the best in her friends and gets along with them pretty well.
9. Even though she was harsh most of the time in Island, she is still likable and tolerable.
10. Megan Fahlenbock does a great job voicing her.

Bad Qualities

1. Gwen's friendships with Bridgette and Leshawna in Island are completely forgotten by the time of World Tour in favor of pushing forth the love triangle with Duncan and Courtney.
2. She was sadly flanderized in Action and onwards.
   • In Action, she loses most of her traits that made her a great character, her screen time is reduced, breaks up with Trent and gets eliminated early on.
   • In World Tour, she gets involved in a love triangle with Duncan and Courtney and is one of the reasons why the third season was divisive.
   • In All-Stars, she gets treated like dirt and is put on the Villainous Vultures for kissing Duncan while he was still with Courtney. She returns to make up with Courtney to the point where she breaks up with Duncan, only for Courtney to betray her, ruining their renewed friendship, meaning all she did to make up with Courtney was for nothing.
   • Her young alternate universe Total DramaRama kid self was also flanderized.
   • However, even before said flanderization, her harsh attitude sometimes makes her a little unlikable to some fans.

Trivia

• Counting her ending of "The Very Last Episode, Really!", Gwen is the first contestant to be the highest-ranking member of a team and the lowest-ranking member of another team, the second being Lightning.
• Gwen is one of two contestants to be on the most successful team of each season, being on the Screaming Gophers in Total Drama Island, the Screaming Gaffers in Total Drama Action, Team Amazon in Total Drama World Tour, and the Villainous Vultures in Total Drama All-Stars, with the other being Heather.
• Gwen has won more challenges for her team or herself and her partner than any other contestant in the series, with fifteen (sixteen counting her ending of Total Drama Island).
