Go! Go! Moba Boy is the titular character of the 2003 Cartoon Monsoon pilot by Matt Danner and Eric Pringle. He was voiced by co-creator Matt Danner.
Why He Blasts Off
- Matt Danner, who co-created him did a great job voicing him.
- He has a unique animesque design that is reminiscent of Dragon Ball, Mega Man X and Astro Boy. It helps that he was designed by Derrick J. Wyatt, who also worked on Teen Titans.
- He is supportive of his older sister Roxinaou and their friend Duckie. He admits she never let him down.
- Not only he can fly with his cellular cybersuit but also speed dial back in time and has a rechargeable battery.
- He had some memorable quotes such as “Silly alien, Earth is for humans”, “Duckie, you already have three hundred and seventy copies of the same picture” and “It's fizzy to the extreme!”
Bad Qualities
- He can be a little mean spirited towards Duckie.
- He is somewhat obscure, despite his likability.
- His battery can eventually become low and makes him weak. Luckily, Roxinaou can give him a new battery.
- His alien superphones resemble flip phones, dating his cellular cybersuit design to the early 2000s.
