Gabriel Van Helsing

Gabriel Van Helsing is the main protagonist of the 2004 action horror film Van Helsing. He was played by Hugh Jackman.

Why He's The Great Van Helsing

1. He is a well-made modernization of the monster hunter.
2. Hugh Jackman pulled off a very convincing British accent and is considered one of his more underrated roles.
3. He is very supportive to Friar Carl, Frankenstein’s Monster and Anna Valerious.
4. His werewolf form was unexpected and hardcore at the same time.
5. His crossbow is cleverly inspired by Castlevania.
6. He had some funny lines such as “I'll bet that's upsetting.”

Bad Qualities

1. He can be seen as a copy of Wolverine due to his memory loss and they share the same actor.
2. Him defeating Dracula and the death of Anna Valerious was anticlimactic.
