Duncan was one of the original 22 campers to compete in Total Drama. He was placed on the Killer Bass in Total Drama Island, the rival team of the Screaming Gophers. He was a cast member and one of the finalists of Total Drama Action, as a member of the Screaming Gaffers. Originally, he quit Total Drama World Tour, but was forced to return once he was found in I See London, and was placed on Team Chris Is Really Really Really Really Hot.

He was seen with the original contestants on a yacht in the first episode of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, and he made a cameo appearance in Grand Chef Auto. He was a camper for Total Drama All-Stars, and was originally a member of the Villainous Vultures but in Saving Private Leechball, he was switched over to the Heroic Hamsters.

Why He's a Bad Boy But in a Good Way

1. Duncan is one of the greatest and most memorable characters in the Total Drama series.
2. Duncan is the definition of a bad boy, being a crafty, cool juvenile delinquent who comes from a long line of policemen and policewomen.
3. Duncan is cruel and does nothing to hide it, but can show streaks of politeness. He also does manage to get along well with some of the other contestants. Most notably with DJ, Owen, Geoff, Beth, Zoey and Gwen. He also usually treats people with respect, until they wrong him.
4. He has a brooding, obnoxious, sarcastic and flirtatious personality, flirting with Heather despite his apparent dislike of her and mocking Courtney whenever she gets near him.
5. He's a career criminal, so of course he'll steal anything at the first opportunity.
6. He knows many tactics from his time spent in juvenile detention centers. He can carve a picture of a skull into a tree trunk and lift great amounts of weight (such as Owen, who is more than three times his size).
7. His relationship with Courtney was great, had great chemistry together and both show that they have feelings for each other.
8. He is actually a good person at heart, although he will never admit it to anyone else. Such moments displaying this side of him include finding a new bunny for his friend DJ after Geoff loses the first one, carving his and Courtney's initials on wood, and defending Lindsay after she is betrayed by Heather.
9. He made it to the final four in the first two seasons and makes it to the merge in each season he competes in.
10. Although he hates singing, he's actually a pretty good singer, proving by his performance of "Greek Mix".
11. His design is unique and pretty cool, matching his personality.
12. Drew Nelson did a great job voicing him.

Bad Qualities

1. While certainly a fan-favorite, he (alongside Owen) might undermine the spotlight from the other characters like DJ, Geoff, Bridgette and Trent.
2. He enjoys tormenting Harold for his geekiness, and because of that, Harold is his favorite victim. They have had a conflict that has only intensified since day one. Harold despises Duncan for this treatment, displaying a classic Bully and Wimp Pairing.
3. He was horribly flanderized starting in season 3, where in World Tour, he becomes a heartless jerk who cheats on Courtney with Gwen, and treated everyone like crap. In All-Stars, his soft side got exaggerated to the point where he couldn't stop himself from being nice.

• Duncan was the last member of his team in the first two seasons.
• Duncan is the only contestant in the series to make it to the final five more than twice.
• Duncan is one of the seven contestants to make it to the merge in every season that they compete in. The others are Alejandro, Cameron, Mike, Owen, Scott and Zoey.
• Duncan is one of only five contestants to compete in four seasons, the others being Courtney, Gwen, Heather, and Lindsay.
