"I give you the Chipettes and the Chipmunks!"
    Gender: Female
Type: Fun Chipmunk Fan School Principle
    Age: 59
    Species: Human
    Portrayed by: Wendie Malick
    Status: Alive
Media of origin: Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel

Dr. Rubin is the principle of West Eastman High School who is an ecstatic Chipmunks fan and is a supporting character in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. She is one of the only likable characters in the film series.

    Why She Rocks

    1. She is one of the likable characters that were created specifically for the live-action film series, which is good considering how lackluster those films are.
    2. Wendie Malick does a good job playing as her.
    3. She has some good jokes, like showing off her excited reaction to being at one of the Chipmunks' concerts to the Chipmunks.
    4. She is a good principal, helping escort the Chipmunks to the classroom, and also helping them practice for the music contest.
    5. She has an interesting deal with the Chipmunks where instead of suspending them for attacking the bullies (mainly Alvin and Simon since the bullies picked on Theodore), she told them they can make up for their mistakes by representing the school in the music contest, so they have a high chance of winning the money to save the school's music program.
    6. She is an ecstatic, fun-loving school principal who is a huge fan of the Chipmunks and is also very sweet and kind.
    7. While she is a Chipmunks fan, she is still willing to be a fair principal and hold a dance-off for the Chipmunks and the Chipettes, with the winner representing the school in the music contest, especially after the school loved listening to the Chipettes.
    8. While she was heartbroken when the Chipmunks weren't able to do the dance off, since Alvin was at the Football game and his team made him miss the dance off, she didn't suspend the boys from school. This is mainly because Theodore and Simon at least showed up, and even though Alvin is the guilty one and didn't even show up at the dance off, Alvin did make up with the bullies and become their friend, so it's likely she acknowledged that and let Alvin off the hook along with his brothers.
    9. She was happy when Alvin saved the Chipettes from Ian and arrived at the music contest just in time, and as a reward for his heroics, she allowed him and his brothers to sing with the girls, both representing their school and winning, saving the school's music department in the process, much to her joy and happiness.
    10. She does give Ryan and his gang of Jocks a fair and satisfying punishment for the way they treated the chipmunks (and for making Alvin miss the dance battle), by making them scrape gum off of the gym's bleachers.
    11. For being in only one of the films, she still made an impact as one of the funniest characters in the franchise.

    The Only Bad Quality

    1. Just like Claire, Julie, Miles, and Ashley, she sadly only appeared once in the franchise.
