Donald Fauntleroy Duck is a short anthropomorphic duck with a yellow-orange bill, legs, and feet. He typically wears a sailor shirt and cap with a bow tie. He is known for his semi-intelligible speech and his mischievous and temperamental personality when he gets angry, created by Walt Disney.

Why He Is an "Oh, Boy" to Disney

1. Along with his friends Mickey Mouse and Goofy, he is one of the most popular characters ever created by the Walt Disney Company.
   • He (and even Goofy) is even loyal to Sora from the Kingdom Hearts video game franchise.
2. He serves as a constant reminder for all of us to be brave, keep searching, hold family close, and never give up no matter how great the odds are against you; in which shows when trying to do his best in old shorts where he was quite unlucky.
3. His voice is one of the most memorable voices along with other duck characters such as Warner Bros' Daffy Duck and other Disney characters, like each one of his aforementioned friends Mickey and Goofy.
4. He served as the perfect straight-man with the trio when with Mickey and Goofy or the straight-man with other characters.
5. He is likable if an ill-tempered duck who is also one of the most relatable characters towards adults, this is best shown in classic Disney cartoons, that starred him or his friends, Mickey and Goofy.
6. Whenever he is easily angered, it is quite hilarious in hindsight.
7. Speaking of which, he is very hilarious on his own.
8. Whenever he does make mistakes, he either gets comeuppance or tries to redeem himself.
9. While he is arrogant and easy to anger, he is very well-meaning towards others.
10. He makes sure to be a great, kind-hearted, responsible if grouchy uncle to his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie.
11. He is one of the most memorable characters in Disney next to his friend Goofy.
12. While Quack Pack was atrocious due to trying to appeal to older audiences and many other flaws, he still kept his charm and was still hilarious as always.
    • He was the best part of the show due to his hilarious personality. His antics in that show translated very well into Modern-Day Suburbia.
13. Just like Squidward Tentacles, his maturity from past Disney shorts to this cartoon made him relate to adults a lot more. Speaking of which, like Mickey is the original SpongeBob, Donald can be considered the original Squidward.
14. He was the main protagonist of The Legend of the Three Caballeros.
15. His rivalry with Chip and Dale is very awesome, same goes for his rivalry/friendship with Mickey.
16. In his own spin-off show DuckTales, he was given more character-development while being his short-tempered self.
    1. It is also shown that his anger issues are more understandable as the world doesn't understand him and he also loves his family so much that the thought of anything bad happening to them infuriated him.
17. He can be put in any time and any setting and will still remain as his usual temper-prone but charming self.

"Traitor, vacillator, lousy second-rater" Qualities

1. Donald is arrogant, impatient, selfish, greedy, hot-tempered and immature, although his anger can come in handy on occasions.
2. He's a Butt-Monkey and Born Unlucky, particularly in the comics, almost everything he does goes terribly wrong in one way or another. Several stories/episodes show their almost supernatural levels of bad luck.
3. His voice can be obnoxious, especially when he yells.
4. He could be a bully at times, such as how he often picks on Chip and Dale unprovoked via either stealing their food or cutting down their tree, and also often messes with Huey, Dewey and Louie unprovoked.
5. When he was featured in realistic, dark shorts that feature the trio or like "Der Fuherer's Face"; while a humorous but eerie short overall, can be unsettling towards some people.
   • This was better shown when Donald Duck got more psychotic than ever before (e.g carrying an axe to try to kill a harmless cow).
6. He was badly flanderized in the 2013 Mickey Mouse film where he became more angry, mean-spirited, and selfish than before to his friends. Thankfully, he redeemed himself and got his original and classic personality back when season 6 began. Better yet, his personality has considerably improved in Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures and Mickey Mouse Funhouse.
   • In the 2004 film Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas, he is treated as a whipping boy who just wanted to relax, have his hot cocoa, and reasonably take a break from celebrating Christmas. But he is constantly forced by the nephews Huey, Dewy and Louie, and Daisy herself (who was also flanderized as an egotistical, jealous, and selfish character) to partake in the excessive commercialism being crammed down Donald's throat, much to the point of being understandably infuriated with it to start destroying a Christmas show because of it.
     • Where everyone treats Donald like he's completely selfish, that isn't the case and Donald is put through so much mistreatment, you easily sympathize too much for him. Especially for how Donald is treated miserably, unfairly and never got an apology from Daisy or the nephews for their selfish behavior.
