Destiny Baker is one of the main characters in seasons 3-6 of Bunk'd. Destiny is a nice young girl who has spent her childhood on the pageant circuit and is accustomed to getting things her way. She lives in Tallahassee, Florida.
While she is a clone of Emma Ross. She actually became a better character in this season then she was in previous seasons.
She is portrayed by Mallory James Mahoney.
Why She Rocks Now
- From the start of the sixth season, Destiny is more likeable then she was in previous seasons, as she is more of a caring friend to Winnie, Jake, Bill and the others.
- Unlike seasons 3-5 she finally gets a change in her character due to the fact she let go of her old ways of being selfish and being obsessed with pageants to a counsellor and becoming more mature.
- She always solve situations with creative solutions to help her friends.
- She has some funny moments.
- Even when she does wrong things, she at least gets punished for them.
- At times when she hurts her friends feelings, she always learns from her mistakes and makes up for that, to be a better friend.
- She is a good counselor and has a good chemistry with Winnie, and even when they fight, they always make up and fix their mistakes to strengthen their friendship.
- Whenever campers ask her for help, she always does everything she can to get them through their problems.
- She cares about her friends very much, like Winnie, Jake, Bill, Noah, Lou, and Parker, as she is always there for them.
- She also has plenty of heartwarming moments.
- Destiny is also not afraid to move on, such as when Ava, Gwen, Finn, and Matteo become absent later on in the show she will always remember them.
- Mallory James Mahoney did a good job playing as her.
Bad Qualities
- She was very unlikable in seasons 3-5.
- She can still be annoying sometimes.
- While she got better over time she is still a clone of Emma Ross at times.
- She can still be a little too aggressive at times.
- She can be perceived as irritating or intolerable.
- Her portrayal from the actor can still be poor sometimes.
- There isn't much friendship bond between Destiny and Winnie because we barely see any scenes where Destiny teaching Winnie lessons as a counsellor.
- Despite Destiny being a counsellor is cool, she should've been a CIT instead. Due to the fact she has low experience of teaching campers, she could've have mentor. Apparently, Lou ended the CIT program since taking over the camp, as the position of CIT has not been mentioned since season 3.
