Cody Emmett Jameson Anderson was a camper on Total Drama Island as a member of the Screaming Gophers. He did not compete on Total Drama Action, but appeared in the peanut gallery on the Total Drama Action Aftermath. He was then a passenger on Total Drama World Tour, as a member of Team Amazon. He was seen with the original contestants on a yacht in the first episode of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island. He then reappears as an alternate universe child in Total DramaRama, being a main character.

Why He Rocks

Cody is one of the most nicest characters in the show, being a wannabe cool boy but with a charming personality.
Cody’s friendly side is great as he has many friends, only having Courtney, Duncan, Blaineley and Alejandro as enemies. He even befriended the lonely Sierra and the hateful Heather, showing how great his kindness extends.
He has some funny moments, like how he tries to be cool, how he fails to defuse a time bomb under pressure, his love for candy and the fact he made the funny commercial video for his team, and this funny singing quote "🎶Gwen, sing it! Don't go!🎶".
He helps his team in challenges, as he jumped off the cliff, helped his team build their hot tub, and how he greatly played dodgeball. He has some great moments when he helps his team in World Tour, like when he and Sierra made the commercial video, when he wins the tiebreaker against Tyler, and when he sacrificed some of his candy to make the mines blow up and get his team across the mine field safely.
While he does have a crush on Gwen, he’s a good friend to her, like when he protected her from getting hit with a dodgeball and how he helped set her up to be with Trent. He even cheers for her to win in the season 1 finale.
He recovered from his injuries in "Haute Campture" and remain his cool, likable and charming self, having fun with his friends.
He made a good team with Owen, Tyler and DJ in the special, as they had some funny moments.
Cody remains likable during the aftermath episodes in Action, as he remains on Gwen’s side after she and Trent break up and is still a good friend to everyone.
We can sympathize with him for getting away from Sierra, as she can be creepy at times with her crush on him.
The punch he gave Duncan was awesome, and what he deserved for cheating on Courtney. He also knocks Duncan over in the emu race and even tricks him into getting beat up by a kangaroo.
While he was slightly flanderized in World Tour, he still remains likable as he helps out his team and is a good friend to most of them, and got pretty far in this season, placing third overall.
- He also redeems himself during his final three appearances in the season when Sierra celebrates his birthday, and so returns his kindness to her for everything she’s done for him, and befriends her. He even helps Heather during the finale, telling her to beat Alejandro, the bad guy, saying she’s the good guy. He even cheered after Heather wins in her ending, and says "Take that, Al!", knowing that Alejandro got his just deserts.
After Cody’s redemption at the end of World Tour, he’s shown to be his nice self again and also accept Sierra’s hugging with a smile, as seen in his cameo in the first episode of Revenge of the Island.
Cody is still a great character in Total DramaRama, as an alternate universe child, still having his nice and cute personality and being friends with everyone, even Courtney and Duncan. His teenager self also had two cameo appearances in this show, being "Mutt Ado About Owen" and "Space Codyty".
His designs as a teenager and as a cute kid are both good.
Peter Oldring and Wyatt White did a great job voicing his teenager and younger selves, respectively.

Bad Qualities

He was slightly flanderized in World Tour, as he became somewhat hypocritical and occasionally a jerk, but he kept most of his charm.
His crush on Gwen can be creepy at times as he sometimes stalks her. This was toned down somewhat during World Tour.
He was horribly injured in "Paintball Deer Hunter" by a bear, because he was eating the bear’s berries. Thankfully, he fully recovered from his injuries.
He is the butt-monkey of the Total DramaRama, and he gets abused in every episode that he’s in through no fault of his own.
