Cell is a bio-android created by Dr Gero in his supercomputer. His mission is to absorb Android 17 and 18 in order to achieve his perfect form. After he got his Perfect form, he decided to show off his power by creating the Cell Games. But he later met his demise after his final battle with Goku's son, Gohan. He is the main antagonist of the Cell Saga in Dragon Ball Z.

Why He Rocks

1. He has a very chill, relaxed and discreet personality.
2. His backstory is very complex and intruiging: He is created by Dr Gero from the cells of all the other fighters (Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Piccolo, etc)
3. His rivalry with Gohan is downright memorable.
4. He is one of Dragon Ball's most famous and iconic villains in anime history.
5. All four forms of Cell had some sort of characteristic of the Z Fighters who challenge him in his personality. Imperfect Cell is sneaky and calculating like Piccolo, Semi-Perfect Cell is vain and arrogant like Vegeta, Perfect Cell was laid back and only wanted to fight powerful opponents like Goku, and Super Perfect Cell is hotheaded and cocky like Super Saiyan 2 Gohan.
6. His theme is epic.
7. He does not overlook things in battle, when he is battling Goku during the Cell Games.
8. His voice actors does an amazing job voicing him. Especially the English dub.
9. His semi-perfect form spawned the meme, SHOOP DA WHOOP.

Bad Qualities

1. His imperfect form and semi-perfect form can look a bit too creepy to some audiences.
2. He ended up resulting dead by foolishly letting Gohan reach Super Saiyan 2 (Due to him crushing Android 16's head after he encouraged Gohan).
3. The way he calls anyone "monkeys", can come across as racist.
