Blue is the title character of Blue's Clues, Blue's Clues & You!, and Blue's Room.

Why She Helps Us Figure Things Out

    1. She is very sweet and cute.
    2. She's good friends with her owners Steve, Joe and Josh. She is also good friends with other characters like Periwinkle, Purple Kangaroo, Sidetable Drawer, Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper, and Mailbox.
    3. She sets off a game of Blue's Clues so her owners can understand her.
    4. She has many cute and beautiful friends.
    5. She's always polite to her friends and treats everyone she sees with respect.
    6. Even if she gets angry or sad at times, she's always positive and never lets her negative emotions get to her.
    7. She's probably one of the best known cartoon dogs/animals in television history, besides Snoopy and Scooby-Doo.
    8. She is a very good role model to kids.
    9. Her iconic and cute bark: "BOW BOW!!!".
    10. She likes to sing, dance, play, read and draw pictures during her pastime.
    11. She is well-voiced by Traci Paige Johnson, who's the creator of Blue's Clues.
    12. She has a heart even a mother could love.
    13. Even when Blue's Clues went downhill in seasons 5 & 6, she still remained the most likable character in the show (outside of the Blue's Room segments during season 6), and didn't fall victim to flanderization like Joe and many other Nickelodeon protagonists did.
    14. She's the star of the very well done revival Blue's Clues & You!, returning to her very lovable self and recovering from her flanderization in Blue's Room, and she still remains the most likable character in the franchise.

    Bad Qualities

    1. Sometimes, her mouth doesn't move when she barks, which can get tedious after a while.
    2. She was somewhat flanderized in Blue's Room, where she becomes an overly talkative Mary Sue, which ruins the fun and defeats the purpose of Blue's Clues. Fortunately, she returned to her lovable self in Blue's Clues & You!.
