Kamisato Ayaka (Japanese: 神里綾華) is a playable Cryo character in Genshin Impact.
She is the eldest daughter of the Kamisato Clan and sister of Kamisato Ayato. Being beautiful, elegant and graceful, the common folks have nothing to bad-mouth Ayaka about. Because of her social status as the eldest daughter of the Kamisato Clan of the Yashiro Commission and as the Shirasagi Himegimi, Ayaka is seen as a model of perfection.
Why She Rocks
- Ayaka came from a royal family, highly skilled in swordsmanship, and is a very polite, and beautiful person. But due to her high loyalty and beautiful appearance, many people were afraid of making interactions with her, causing Ayaka to not have any friends during childhood.
- Even with the Kamisato clan's strict policies, she holds the people of Inazuma dear to her heart and often goes out of her way to personally assist them in all kinds of matters - being a member of the Yashiro Commission, she feels that it is her duty to meet the people's needs.
- Well-made character design, which matches the representation of the Kamisato clan, her skills as a warrior, and her Vision being Cryo (Ice).
- She's graceful, elegant, and calm when striking her katana.
- In fact, most of her movements give homage to a Devil May Cry character, Vergil:
- Both have the same movement as they put away their swords in a sheath.
- Ayaka's charged attack animation resembled Vergil's Judgement Cut.
- Both wear blue and have white hair.
- Her skills and blade techniques are very visually stunning and satisfying to watch.
- Her character story quest does give depth to her background when she wanted to do things on her own when not being treated like royalty, spend time in festivals, and accomplish goals that her late mother wasn't able to do.
