Ami Mizuno is the civilian identity of Sailor Mercury in the Sailor Moon series. She is one of the members of the Sailor Guardians, her guardian planet is Mercury and she has powers related to water.

Why She's A Sweet Girl And Is Our Sailor Mercury

    1. She is quite intelligent and serves as the brain of the Sailor Guardians, being the team's main strategist.
    2. Like Minako Aino, she has a sweet and caring personality.
    3. She is possibly the most mature of the Inner Sailor Guardians and knows how to deal with problems.
    4. In several episodes she serves as the voice of reason and tends to be the most rational of the Sailors.
    5. Like the rest of the Sailors, her design is cute.
    6. Even if she is not the funniest of the Sailors, she still has several funny moments.
    7. She always helps her friends with their studies and supports them to get good grades.
    8. Her super computer is quite useful in battles against enemies.

    Bad Qualities

    1. Many times she can come off as obsessed with her studies, up to the point where her constantly trying to force Usagi and the other Sailor Soldiers to study became an unfunny running gag which made her look pushy, and not have any other interests.

    Trivia

    • Ami's mother is a doctor.
    • Her father was a painter.
