Nigel Uno a.k.a. Numbuh 1 is the main protagonist of the 2002 animated series, Codename: Kids Next Door. He is the British Kids Next Door Operative Leader in Sector V.

Why He Never Ends

1. He is the bald, astute, no-nonsense leader of Sector V, who always makes sure the KND are at their best.
2. He’s an incredibly skilled fighter, along with Numbuh 4, one of the greatest examples of his strength is defeating Numbuh 274, the greatest KND operative of his time.
3. He shows great care for his teammates and best friends, which is not only shown throughout the series, but also during an emotional goodbye with them in Operation: I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S.
4. He was considered to be a suitable candidate for both Supreme Leader and Global Tactical Officer in the past, but refused both to stay with his friends, which shows dedication and loyalty to them.
5. As the leader, he is quick to jump into action and he is quite resourceful, which is helpful when facing dangerous enemies, especially Father.
6. He is shown to have a great bond with his family, with his parents, Monty and Mrs. Uno, being former KND members, Numbuhs 0 and 999, which strengthens their bond even further upon finding out, with his parents being proud of him.
7. He never gives up on missions, always protects innocent children, including his fellow KND friends, from evil adults, and always finds a way to succeed in life.
8. Operation: I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. shows him becoming the single earth representative of the Galactic KND, which is amazing.

Bad Qualities

1. His workoholia occasionally makes him unlikable.
2. He can be reckless, hot-tempered, stubborn, and act alone sometimes.
3. He is rather naive sometimes, like in Operation: D.I.A.P.E.R., when he believes that babies were kidnapped and brought to the hospital to be aged into adults, and that babies come from "baby eggs".
4. Because of both his naiveness and stubbornness, he refuses to listen to Numbuh 5 when she points out the truth against his theories.

Trivia

• Numbuh 1's codename is Numbuh 1, because his surname is uno, Spanish and Italian for one.
• Numbuh 1 is the only member of Sector V who doesn't have a brother or sister.
• Numbuh 1 is the only member of Sector V who hasn't been married in Operation: I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S., because of him leaving the Earth for the GKND.
• How he lost his hair is one story that the writers would like to tell one day.
