Kanao Tsuyuri (栗つ花ゆ落りカナヲ, Tsuyuri Kanao?) is a Demon Slayer, the adoptive sister of Kanae Kocho and Shinobu Kocho and Shinobu's former Tsuguko. She is also one of the main characters of Demon Slayer series. Then, she joins at the same time as Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Genya.

Why She Rocks

1. Kanao Tsuyuri is one of the most skilled demon slayer with enough experince to be one of the future Pillars.
   • She apply her tactical intelligence, just to make herself more effective in some battles.
2. Her interactions with Tanjiro are heartwarming and/or very funny.
3. Kanao's antics when she is chasing Nezuko, particularly when the latter keeps dodging her attacks.
4. Kanao wants Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu to get stronger, so she trains them.
   • She also befriended them as expected.
5. Her reasons of developing hatred towards demons ever since they killed Shinobu's sister in her backstory are justified.
   • Also in her backstory, her first meeting with Shinobu and Kanae draws some sympathetic moments for them, SHobu and Kanae rescued her from a life of slavery and abuse.
6. Kanao gets more character development as she gradually becomes able to express her emotions and wants more openly, as seen when Tanjiro recovers from his injuries and she displays relief, when she tells Shinobu that she wishes to train alongside her, and when she expresses shock and distress at Shinobu's plan to defeat Doma.
7. She also demonstrates extreme determination and a deep care for her family, crying for the first time in the wake of Shinobu's death, and expressing that she had wished to go home together with her elder sister.
8. When Shinobu was killed by the same demon that killed Kanae and Inosuke's mother, she and Inosuke worked together to kill it, to avenge her deceased saviors.

The Only Bad Quality

1. She had trouble making decisions prior to her first meeting with Tanjiro, this is a result of living a life of slavery and abuse.
