Dukeson "Dukey" Test is Johnny's pet dog and the deuteragonist of the show. Johnny got him as a birthday gift for his 11th birthday and he was later mutated by Susan and Mary, giving him the ability to speak and walk on two legs.

Why He Deserves Corndogs

  1. He is more like an older brother to Johnny.
  2. Dukey is like the humorous, sympathetic voice of reason to Johnny.
  3. He is a reluctant, yet intelligent and nice talking dog.
  4. Prior to WHR #2, he will often point Johnny out for his irresponsible actions.
  5. Dukey can be really funny and has some truly unforgettable moments.
  6. Like Johnny, he cares for his family and hates seeing them in danger.
  7. He will always understand his mistakes and learn from them to the point of not being afraid to share this.
  8. Louis Chirillo does a great job voicing him. In addition, in the reboot, Trevor Devall did a better job voicing him than in season 5 due to Louis Chirillo's retirement
  9. He is proven to be pretty heroic, thanks to his role as "Super Pooch".

Bad Qualities

  1. His original voice actor, Louis Chirillo, was replaced by Trevor Devall in season 5. While not bad, he is not as good as in the previous seasons. Luckily, Trevor Devall did a better job voicing him in the reboot.
  2. He became flanderized in season 5. Becoming more of a Butt-Monkey character, but was still likable.
  3. He can be really annoying and unlikable, but this would occur in later seasons.
