Captain America is a fictional superhero appearing in publications by Marvel Comics. He is created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. Named Steve Rogers, he is a super-soldier experimented upon during the Second World War that granted him peak human abilities, and of whom he weilds an indestructible vibranium steel shield. He is a prominent member of the Avengers and fought numerous foes with them countless times. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he is potrayed by Chris Evans.

Why He Can Do This All Day

1. Captain America is a good example of a symbol of justice, possessing unwithering humility, courage, and selflessness.
2. He wears symbolized American flag colors as a costume; This is a good representation of his patriotism as he fights to protect his country and the world.
3. Captain America became a prominent member of the original Avengers, alongside Iron Man, Thor, the Hank Pym version of Ant-Man, and the Janet Pym version of Wasp after Hulk's departure.
4. Chris Evans portrays him greatly and is very much faithful to the comic books minus the corny superhero dialogue.
5. His famous friendships with many other heroes such as Bucky Barnes.
6. He is the polar opposite of Iron Man, having differing views about heroes. This also led to their brutal showdown in the Civil War comic and film.
7. His shield is one of the most iconic superheroes and cultural icons.
8. Is involved in some of the most iconic moments in the history of Marvel media; from his clash with Tony in "Civil War", his seeming allegiance with Hydra, and, in the MCU, lifting the mighty Mjolnir.
9. He is shown to be a capable leader; in leading his squad of soldiers to victory in the Second World War despite defying orders. He is often seen as the leader of the Avengers, spearheading the charge every time they are about to fight, yelling the signature "Avengers, assemble!" catchphrase that has become a much legendary element of the team.

Bad Qualities

1. He got flanderized in the comics (All-New, All-Different Marvel) after becoming the new "Chief of Civilian Oversight for S.H.I.E.L.D".
2. Steve sometimes does a lot of stupid or questionable things across all the media he appears in.
3. The versions of Steve seen in the 1979 Captain America TV movie and the 1991 movie are both awful, and spend more time whining than actually being heroic (though their respective actors, Reb Brown and Matt Salinger, do the best they can with what they're given).
4. Captain America's small screen time in Avengers: Infinity War feels very off, considering he, alongside Tony Stark, was the main protagonist and had the most screen time in first two movies. Thankfully, this was fixed in Avengers: Endgame.
5. He takes the coward ending of returning to the past instead of learning to live in the present, which defeats the whole purpose of his quote after the five-year time jump in Endgame about having to move on from the past.
6. The Ultimate Marvel run flanderizes Cap to a unnerving point where the run takes the American stuff about Cap up to 11.
